IN The Stranglehold banding system from Elms Lightning fasteners is designed to be an alternative to stocking many sizes of worm drive clamps.
Appropriate lengths of continuously threaded stainless steel banding are cut from 25 or 50m reels; attaching the tension screw is claimed to take 10 seconds.
Once the clamp is attached its flip-up action speeds fitting and tensioning of the band. Clamps cost £11.05 for 25 and banding is £20.35 for 25 metres (both ex-VAT).
