• Maintenance works to overlay a 4km stretch of the M23 between junctions nine and 10 in Surrey are scheduled to start on 7 October. Work will last about seven weeks and delays are likely. The Department of Transport is advising drivers to allow extra time for journeys, especially to Gatwick.
