At least 20% of all foreign trucks are on the road at any time of the day. There is a rapid increase in vehicles on the road from around 5.30am, peaking at around 10.30am when the proportion rises from 37% to 67%. It then declines steadily to around 30%, reaching a plateau between 8.30pm and early morning.
