THE SECOND LAST contract has been awarded for the 127-mile improvement scheme for the A9 Perth-Ardullie trunk road.
The 1.6m section south of the Pitlochry by-pass through the Pass of Killiecrankie will be in single and dual carriageway sections and will cost £11.24m. Work on the 28th and last section of the A9, the Perth western by-pass, starts shortly.
