This new facility means that I is possible to raise the trailer led from a normal running ;eight of 305mm (12in) to over ;35mm (25in) above the road it the front end. It can also be owered to within 76mm (3in) if the ground to give naximum clearance when iassing under low bridges.
The first example is being ..xhibited at the Scottish Vlotor Show where it will be itted to a new trailer being inveiled in the demonstration )ark, a 38-tonne gross-trailerweight model, the F6 38LB.
Developed from the Design Council Award winning model, the new trailer nol.n‘nnist 1■11,01 I lower deck with a load bearing bridge over the bogie together with a 915mm (3ft) beaver tail. It is also equipped with spring-assisted rear loading ramps.
The new trailer is available with three bogies, all incorporating Craven Taskers CPS 24 suspension.
