Elhe trouble with standing at the back looking silly in a plastic costume is that you never get a look in when it comes to the bubbly. Never mind Ringo, it's all in a good muse. Neil Bowker, director of WH Bowker, is seen here raising a glass with Phillippa McCarthy, Ring Leader project manager and Maureen Hughes of ITW Hi-Cone _ They are toasting the success of the Ring Leader school's recycling scheme, in which Bowker's fleet takes an active part.
This nationwide scheme involves over 1,100 schools, where the children are encouraged to coiled plastic rings on multipacks of food and drink. At the end of every term, the rings are returned to the manufacturer, ITW Ili-Cone, to be recycled. The money saved is given to the scheme's adopted good muse; St Tiggywinkles, the Wildlife Hospital Trust at Aylesbury Pats on the back all round, I'd say.
