formed to handle the sales and service of Atkinson vehicles in the south-east of England. Operating from the same address as The Nightingale Engineering Co. Ltd., Western Lane, Nightingale Lane, London, S.W.12 (telephone, Kelvin 2193), Atkinson Vehicles (London) Ltd. will leave the former company to concentrate on its Rootes Group and York Trailer distributorships and the fitting of Tecalemit automatic lubrication.
Directors of the new company are: chairman, Mr. W. G. Allen; managing director, Mr. B. Francis Caunt, Mr. A. W. Allen, D. Boxall (general manager) and Mr. J. H. Gange (secretary). Mr. S. Eden-Smith has been appointed sales manager. He will continue to be responsible for sales for Nightingale Engineering and Coach Bodies Ltd., of the same address.
The first sub-agent appo'nted by the new company is Lawler Motors Ltd., Ffinch Street, London, S.E.8, which will cover Kent and part of S.E. London.
