The 107 automatic batte charger made by Richmor Electronics (Markyate) Ltd claimed to obviate the risk overcharging. The control kn can be adjusted to provide a charging current up to 4amp. soon as charging at the select rate has restored the battery peak condition, the electror voltage comparator automat ally causes the charging cum to drop to a minimal rate of 1 milliamps. This is norms sufficient to make good the lc of charge through interr chemical changes but it will r overcharge the battery. T comparator is said to give mu more precise control than zer diodes used in some types charger.
The battery is not damaged for any reason it is left on char for a long period. Should the It charge be insufficient maintain the battery in pe condition, the rate will autom ically be increased to hI charge for appropriate perio which is of special benefit in I case of older batteries. The St case of the charger measul 13in. by 10in. by 6-lin. Ma current consumption is 4t maximum on high charge a 1 .;.W on low charge. T standard model is suitable for and 12V batteries; 24V mod can be supplied.
