N"purchases of transport units announced by the Northern Licensing Authority on Tuesday are by Mr. C. W. Tinkler, 7 LoWson Street, Stillington, Stockton, of one vehicle (2 tons 19f cwt.), and Mr. J. J. T.• Williamson, Station Garage, Bishopton Road, Stockton,' of six (17 -tons 16f cwt.). Messrs. W: S. 'Nicholson and Sons, Grassmoor, Cockermouth, have taken over ia vehicle (3 tons 4 cwt.) from Robson's Border Transport, Ltd.,
