TO CUT floor wear caused by pallet trucks during loading and unloading, Boafloy Ltd has fitted alloy wear plates to four Tautliner semi-trailers recently supplied to RHM Foods Ltd. The hardwood floor in each trailer has a 610mm (2ft) wide alloy strip across the back and 660mm (2.2ft) wide plates running up each side. The plates are easily replaced and are secured by countersunk bolts, which, pass through the floor and trailer cross-members.
