THE Freight Transport Assc ciation is to fight plans b South Glamorgan Council t implement a restrictive ion: routes system.
The system would be one oi the most restrictive of its king —keeping all lorries over threi tons to a limited number o major roads. And it would b completely contrary to th latest Government thinkini (CM January 30).
The Government sae-in calls for an 8,000-mile systen of lorry routes for vehicles ove 16 tons but allowing direc access to load and unload.
