HE Deutz-engined IVECO Magirus 290M 19 FS, first seen at the rankfurt Show last September, is now available in the UK. This vehicle is designed for operation at up to 44 tonnes gcw and ower is provided by an air-cooled 12-76-litre turbocharged V8 iesel engine.
Although rated at 200kW (268bhp) to BS AU 141 at 2,300; maxiaim power of 215kW (288bhp) is produced at some 300rpm less ,hile maximum torque of 1,110Nm (818Ibft) occurs at 1,550rpm.
