PERKINS ENGINES is offering Powerpart camshafts at discounted prices in return for the old component.
The customer will get a brand new camshaft at this price with the main aim of the exercise being to get the old camshaft "out of the market place", according to Perkins.
The Peterborough-based company is anxious to stop the "back-street" reconditioner from offering re-profiled worn camshafts.
The camshafts on offer fit 15 engines throughout the Perkins range including the 4.1 0 8, T6.354, and the V8s.
