Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Two purpose-built gulley suckers have been supplied to the London Borough of Bexley by The General Descaling Co Ltd of Worksop in Nottingha ms hire.

Said to be the first of their type, the units will be employed on fast clearance of solidly compacted road dust and debris. The cleaning cycle can be controlled from the roadside working position with a downpipe providing a pressurised water supply at 1,034KNI/sqm (1500psi).

Up to 5,455 lit (1200 gal) of sludge and 2,273 lit (500 gal) of clean water can be carried with the two-section tank. An audible alarm gives warning at the 455 lit (100 gal) level.

To ensure complete discharge through the power-operated rear door, the tank can be tipped to 45°.

A jetting pump delivers water at 100 lit/min (22 gal/min) and can also supply an auxiliary hose reel for sewer cleaning. The reel mounted at the rear can be swivelled through 180° in a double-pivot action simplifying access to the galley.

Loosened silt is evacuated by a rotary vane exhauster through a larger than normal 150mm (61n) diameter boom arm pipe.
