YORKSHIRE bus dealer Paul Sykes plans to visit China this month in a bid to expand the used public service vehicle market.
The Paul Sykes Organisation has supplied used and reconditioned bus and lorry engines for over ten years to many export markets including Africa, Australia, and South East Asia.
Company chairman Paul Sykes received an invitation from Chinese Government officials who have been involved in importing engines and spares into China. Mr Sykes hopes to expand activities and export complete used buses to the Chinese mainland.
The Organisation expects that total export sales will reach over film this financial year and eventually aims to set up depots in either the Far East or Australia from which engines, parts and vehicles could be distributed to markets in the Far East with maximum efficiency.
