litated by an understanding which has been reached between that country and Great Britain. It has been arrived at within the framework of the existing payments arrangements for transactions between the United Kingdom and Mexico, which remain on a convertible sterling basis.
Provided that agreement is reached between buyers and sellers on questions of price and quality, the British Government will authorize the importation of Mexican commodities to the value of about £4,000,000 in the year ending June 30; 1951. The Mexican Government will assist the import of British goods into Mexico.
"TIGER" MARKING FOR SIGNS
POSTS specially provided for " no waiting" and. "unilateral waiting" signs are to be painted in alternate black and yellow bands, 12 ins, wide, to
make them eaeily recognizable. The Minister of Transport has issued directions to this effect.
Where the signs are mounted on lamp posts or other "articles of street furniture," the posts may be painted with one or more yellow bands.
