service 1 operated by Skyways, Ltd., between London and Nice has been fixed at £24 10s. return. This is claimed to be the lowest approved fare for an air and surface scheduled service between the two points.
Regular services will operate four times weekly as from June 20, with departures from Victoria Coach Station at 4 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and arrivals in Nice 151 hours later.
Skyways, Ltd., had hoped to fix the fare at £19 10s., but were not allowed to do so because this would have undercut French Railways.
