INDEPENDENT operator Applebys Coaches have taken over Grimsby's Brighawgate Bus Station and plan to give it a more upmarket image by renovating it as a coach travel centre.
Originally used by Lincolnshire Road Car Company, the bus station, according to Appleby's managing director, has in recent months become "refuge for undesirables" Lincolnshire buses now operate from curbside stops.
