FOLLOWING a joint inspection of signs banning lorries from certain parts of Highgate with the Freight Transport Association, Hornsey Borough Council has agreed to introduce newstyle signs in more prominent positions. A large number of drivers have been prosecuted for failing to comply with the signs, some of which are obscured by overhanging branches (CM October 17).
