AN ELEVENTH-HOUR bid to bring a new Transport Bill before the current session of Parliament ends is being made by Liberal MP Mr David Steel.
He has introduced a Private Bill to free minibuses from the restrictions of public service vehicle drivers' licences and allow school buses to carry fare-paying passengers in rural areas.
The Bill has no chance of becoming law but a similar Bill may be put forward next ■ session.
