MANY British schoolboys will have reason to be grateful, or othe wise, to M. and S. Shipping Ltd. for a consignment which wi discharged in the East End of London on Tuesday. The consignmei consisted of a load of mathematics textbooks which was imported froi Hungary.
The books were carried in a semi-trailer van belonging to Hungart camion which was pulled from Budapest to Rotterdam by a Hensch, tractive unit and from Felixstowe to London by a Hatter Bros. Me. cedes-Benz tractive unit. The journey of approximately 12,000 milt began in Budapest on September 29, the trailer was loaded on to th TFS "Gaelic Ferry" at Rotterdam on Monday and the journey ws completed by 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Mr. R. Unterberger of M. and S. Shipping and Mr. Istvan Szilagy the Hamburg agent for Hungarocamion, were at Felixstowe to meet th load coming ashore.
The entire journey from Budapest to London is to be the subject of. documentary film which is being produced by Hungarian Televisiol whose chief cameraman and reporter accompanied the load all th way.
