COMMERCIAL vehicle corn ponents will be shown by British companies to visitors from all over the world at the Leipzig Autumn Fair (August 31-September 7).
An official joint venture with BOTB support, the display is being mounted by the SMMT in Hall 5 of the Technical Area. This body has long experience of joint yen tures—for example in Paris, Geneva and Moscow—but has not previously been to Leipzig, the centre of East-West trade.
Recently it learned that the German Democratic Republic, host country of the fair, would be "particularly interested" in seeing firms involved in the commercial vehicle components industry. Accordingly, the society is planning to have a site of roughly 250sq metres..
