Over 100 Yeovil businesses have raised over 23,000 to decorate the town in festive style, and got into the Christmas spirit by transporting the lights free of charge from the Cambridge manufacturers.
Paul Sanders, branch manager of Pickfords Yeovil, says: "Yeovil's Christmas lights needed an additional sparkle. It's been very encouraging to see so many local businesses giving to the community".
