AA FIRM which already supplies and converts more than 3,500 Ford engines a year to meet customers' spec;fie needs (recent installations include engines adapted for nuclear power work, road modernization—and even one to operate a full-size mechanical elephant) has formed a new company to develop further this side of the its business.
The new company, Quickpower Ltd., is sited at Ardwick Works, West Cotton —four miles from the centre of Manchester—and is a Subsidiary of 1-1. and J. Quick, the Manchester and Chester main Ford dealers.
Mr. Harry Lovatt is a director and generalmanager of Quickpower and his co-directors, Mr. Thomas Quick and Mr. Norman Quick are chairman and managing director, respectively.
