on Monday, the Minister of Transport said that he hoped shortly to announce the names of the chairman and members of the
committee of inquiry into London Transport. The inquiry was not aimed in any way at the wages and conditions of service agreed between the London Transport Executive and their employees. It would not he proper for the committee to recommend any specific changes in service agreements.
