AN application has been made by Sunderland Corporation to the Northern Licensing Authority to operate tours of the town to mark the Coronation. There will be two circular routes, and fares of Is. 6d. for adults and Is. for children are proposed. If there is sufficient demand, the tours will be run until the end of September.
