AS an ambulance driver whose chief source of 1--t accidents is the A5 road between St. Albans and Markyate, I have often been puzzled as to the cause of the head-on collisions between lorries on some of the straight 1 sections of this main trunk road. The correspondence which has appeared in your columns in connection with the light code appears to throw light on this matter as well.
