THIS MAN-VW MT 8.136 has the delicate task of carrying fresh eggs from the Monkhouse farm in Penrith, Cumbria, throughout the North of England.
Supplied by Borderman (Trucks) Ltd of Carlisle, the vehicle is expected to cover 40,000 km (25,000 miles) annually.
The 3.6m (lift 10in) wheelbase vehicle is fitted with a 15cum (526cuft) capacity box body supplied by Van Bodies (Lancs) Ltd of Lancaster.
The six-cylinder MAN D0226MF engine develops 100kW (135bhp).
