THE public saw for the first time on Tuesday a 37-seat coach with allrubber suspension built by the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co., Ltd. Willowbrook, Ltd., made the composite body. The vehicle appears in an exhibition staged by London Coastal Coaches, Ltd., at the garage of Samuelsons New Transport Co., Ltd. It is to go into service for the first time at Easter.
Fifteen coaches used on tours, express services and private hire in Britain and on the Continent were lent by leading operators for the exhibition, which closes today.
