Public passenger operators, frequently exchange ideas on how to increase loadings. Last week, I heard of a suggestion alleged to
be made by one of the better-known northwestern holiday resorts. It is proposed that they give prizes to lucky passengers each week during the season. The first prize is proposed to be one week's holiday in Wigan. Second prize: two weeks' holiday in Wigan. If the idea catches on Wigan could have a very good summer season! Come to think of it the day I heard of this was April 1.
