SUMP OIL, gear oil and most types of waste oil can be burned in the three floor-standing Anderton waste-oil heaters manufactured by this company. The DSH radiant-heat model has a heat output of approximately 150,000 /160,000 Btu /hr and a consumption of 4/1 gal /hr. It can be converted to a small central-heating boiler when it is known as the Model CHB and produces 60,000 Btu /hr for heating water and 90,000/100,000 Btu /hr of radiant heat.
A larger model, the CHB Major, has heat-to-water and radiant-heat outputs of approximately 120,000 /130,000 Btu /hr and 30,000 Btu /hr respectively, consumption being of the same order, The CHB is capable of heating radiator panels with an area of 350 sq ft, while the panel heating capacity of the CHB Major is 650 sq ft.
