FIVE GAS-FIRED air heaters that Gan be converted to oil firing and five oil-fired models that can be converted to gas firing comprise the 10 models in the Dragonair range, the rated output of both types being from 150,000 Btu /hr to 1,000,000 Btu/hr. All models are available with vertical or horizontal mounting and in free-blowing and ducted versions. They are fully automatic and have night depression thermostats. And they are suitable for a wide variety of applications from heavy-engineering works to supermarkets and offices, aeroplanes, ships, hovercraft and so on.
Heated air outputs of both types range from 1470 Cu ft/min to 11,700 cu ft/min and fuel consumption from 400 cu ft of gas/hr to 2700 Cu ft /hr or 1.2gal of oil /hr to 7.6 gal /hr according to the model. The speed of the ventilating fan is 850 /900 rpm in each case. Standard flue 'components can be supplied in stainless steel or light-alloy. A range of head extensions is available to increase the height at which warm air is discharged from the free-blowing models.
