FOUR specialist trucks designed for use in the aircraft industry will be on show at the Farnborough Air Show from September 2-8.
A low-profile fueller with a capacity of 40,000 litres (8,800gals) mounted on a purpose-built Foden chassis has an overall height of only
2.75m (108in). This makes it possible to couple hoses direct to aircraft tanks while the vehicle is standing under a wing.
Mounted on a Thornycroft Nubian Major Chassis is a major aircraft fire crash truck, with foam facilities.
