FROM Lagos. Barclays Bank D.C.O. reports that a vehicle-assembly plant, constructed and equipped by the United Africa Company of Nigeria, at a cost of more than £310,000, has started production in Apapa. The plant is capable of turning out eight Bedford trucks a day starting from the packing case stage to the finishing coat of naint.
