Following the Distinguishing Names, Letters, or Numbers of Each Model, are Given Those Particulars About Which a Piospective Buyer is Most Likely to Require Information THE ensuing abbreviated specifications are presented in a manner which should simplify the task of making a choice of the most suitable vehicle to fill the requirements in view in any particular instance.

The particulars include the seating capacity, engine dimensions (in the case of oil and petrol machines), the available body space, the frame or floor height, the platform height, where this is appropriate, and the chassis price. Where one model is offered in two forms, as, for example, with either an oil or a petrol engine, the features common to both types are given first, whilst those that apply to only one model follow the main distinguishing feature in each case.

With regard to trolleybuses, which are contained in a separate section, every model shown has a single motor, twin motors no longer being employed as standard equipment. The voltage figure, included in our specifications last year, has been omitted, for in almost every case it is 500 to 600, and naturally this is governed by the electric supply system. Furthermore, the overall length may be taken to represent the available body space.
