ROADLINE has centralised the management and control of its 700 trailers by setting up a national trailer centre at Northampton.
David Wallace heads the centre and he is a former engineering manager of Roadline's Low Moor, Bradford branch and has been with the company for six years.
The unit will act as a nerve centre for the daily allocation of 40ft firth-wheel trunking trailers to Roadline parcel branches throughout the UK. It is also responsible for regular maintenance of the trailer fleet.
