THE CORPORATE sales operation formed recently by Britannia Movers International has appointed Ted Philp as its managing director.

Mr Philp joined the co-operative's Watford-based sales operation from AbeIs International, of which he was a direct o r. Before that he was international removals director with Pickfords Worldwide. He has been in the international moving business for more than 25 years and is a vice-president of the British Association of Removers. For several years he headed BAR's negotiations with shipping lines and HM Customs.
