• Nottingham-based ZF Gears (Great Britain) is now offering a heavy-duty power take-off for the Bedford CF range.

The new unit has been developed in conjunction with Bedford and is designed to fit the ZF S5 18/3 five-speed gearbox which is standard on all long-wheelbase CF models and optional on the short wheelbase CF. Its maximum rating is 15kW (20hp).

For tipping and miniskip operation, the unit will be supplied with a bolt-on gear pump, while for road-breaking and tyre breakdown applications a remote compressor drive kit is available.

Each PTO kit comes with an in-cab manual control and costs 2500 plus VAT.
