for this year's Glasgow Marathon on September 21. The announcement was made by Glasgow Lord Provost Robert Gray and Citylink chairman John Whittle said: "We are both in the business of long-distance running."
The Scottish Bus Groui has been involved in a minor sponsorship role since the first marathon it 1982. This year it will be putting in around £45,000. So far, 7,000 runners hay applied to enter.

Horse Oxford Blue, now in quarantine before departing on April 30 for the worki championships in Australia, looks on. The horsebox, which has side and rear ramps, accommodates five horses and four adults, and is equipped with central heating and its own generator.
