Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SIMPLE new device designed to improve suspension characteristics when employed with leaf springs, is known as the Aeon hollow rubber spring. It is, in effect, a snubber, but differs in construction from the normal type.

. It consists of a barrel-shaped double cone, flat at the top and bottom. Being hollow, it can be simply secured. A double cone of metal is pressed into one end of the rubber double cone, where it is automatically held by reason of the tapered interior.

The metal cone is made either in the form of a bolt, or it may have a plate riveted to it for welding to the chassis member. The device fits between the vehicle spring and the chassis member, as in the case of a solid snubber.

The sole distributors for this component in this country and Ireland are Aeon Products (London). Ltd.. 48 Clifton Gardens, London, N.W.11.
