Talking of Liverpool, I see that the city's road safety officer, Ben Kinley, was awarded the MBE in the Birthday Honours—one that we missed in our official list a few weeks back. Anyway, it's nice to have the chance to record this, as he is known to many people in transport as the man who runs the Liverpool round of the LDOY contest.
