A. T. Booth (Manchester) Ltd. of South Bank, Yorkshire. concerning their bid to uplift the weight of two tractors and semi-trailers, which was refused by the North Western deputy Licensing Authority last month (The Conmrerciai Motor, October 9), was argued before the Transport Tribunal on Tuesday. As a result the Tribunal, while refusing to allow the company to operate the vehicles under short-term licence pending their appeal, agreed to hear the appeal proper on Monday of next week, November 16.
The appeal will be heard at 10.30 a.m. at the Tribunal's court room at York Buildings. Adelphi. London.
