Medlycott, Eden Way, Beckenham, Kent, who will operate the market in estates in the Croydon area. Supplied by Longton Transport Equipment Ltd., Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, the vehicle is based on an Austin FH K100 5-ton chassis, and constructional details include a hardwood frame, exterior panels of 18-gauge aluminium sheet and an interior decorative lining of washable p.v.c.
Entrance and exit are provided by folding doors at the front and rear on the nearside and fittings include two Sterne refrigerators, two Weathershield roof vents, shelving frames dipped tubes and a cash desk, whilst the battery by an alternator to cater for the heavy light load. cost of the vehicle is 13,000.
