"FLEET SUPPORT" is liberally interpreted by Mercedes-Benz. Members of the fleet support and dealer service teams are charged with the duty of assisting the driver of any disabled vehicle, which is taken to include fire-fighting.
Twice in rapid succession they have prevented vehicles — a car and a van — from being burned out and, as an encore to the van incident on the M1 near Leicester Forest East service area, went on to rescue an overturned caravan. No-one could ask for more support than that.
