Minister of Transport has dismissed an appeal by Foxall and Sons Ltd., of Bridgnorth. Shropshire, against the decision of the West Midland Traffic Commissioners in refusing to grant a variation of an excursion and tours licence so as to authorize the operations ' by Foxall of three Continental tours.
The Minister felt that, although the company had produced some evidence of demand for Continental tours, it failed to show that there was a need for new facilities. On the other hand, there was evidence to show that existing operators had been able to handle such demand as there was from Bridgnorth.
