SEDDON Atkinson's first 40' production model left thi Oldham plant assembly line cm November 5, two months befon the first production vehicle: were due.
The vehicle, fitted with a Rolls Royce 265 engine and destine( for an oil company, is part of pre-production run of around 71 vehicles to be built before th4 end of 1980. Originally Januar was scheduled for the first pro duction vehicles, but advanci orders of £2.5m caused SA t( bring production plans forwar( with the aim of speeding de livery.
