A WRITTEN warning notice is to be issued if, in the view of an MoT tester, a vehicle which has failed to pass the test is dangerously unroadworthy.
This development was announced in the Commons last week by Dr John Gilbert, the Minister for Transport, who noted that up to now the procedure has just been to notify the defects on a failed vehicle to the owner.
