A HEALTH and Safety Act training pack is now available from the Road Transport Industry Training Board at a cost of £179.40, including vat.
This pack is aimed to make the maximum impact with the help of audio-visual aids — there's even a card game, loosely based on Happy Families.
A Leader's Guide includes session plans, timetables, discussion notes and checklists, and other exercises include questions on guarding dangerous machinery in vehicle workshops and interpreting one of the Act's regulations (The Protection of Eyes Regulations).
