• The application of Alruba Manufacturing Co of Burton-upon-Trent has been refused by the East Midland LA following a successful objection from the RHA.

The RHA was objecting on the grounds that Alruba had insufficient finance to operate satisfactorily. The company had, until the refusal, been operating two vehicles and three trailers on an interim licence. The LA, Mr C. M.
