Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Osram (GEC) has launched a range of four high-output sealed-beam headlight units which, it is claimed, give about 95 per cent of the performance of tungsten halogen headlight lamps at less than one-third the price.

The units have 75W main beam filaments and are designed to give from 40 per cent to 60 per cent greater main beam output (according to type) than conventional units usually fitted in Britain.

There are two 7in. diameter versions, one with pilot light provision, a 5.75in. diameter model for four-headlight systems and a rectangular design. All are made for 12V systems.
